MBBS, BDS Merit List For Odisha To Be Published On July 1

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha merit list for MBBS and BDS admissions will be published on July 1. This year, admissions will be held for 1,250 seats in seven medical colleges and 150 seats in two BDS colleges in the state.

The registration for MBBS and BDS admissions for the current year in Odisha concluded on Thursday. The last date of registration was extended for two days after implementation of the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) quota. Also, 250 MBBS seats have been increased this year.

“For the medical registration, we had fixed the date from June 20 to 25. After implementation of EWS reservation, we had extended the date to June 27. We will publish the state merit list on July 1. The candidates will have the option of choice filling and locking from July 1 (11 am) till July 2 (11:59 pm),” said OJEE Chairman Sudip Kumar Chand.

The list of the first rounds of allotment will be published on July 4, he added.

Notably, the registration process started on June 20 and more than 5,500 students in Odisha had applied for MBBS and BDS this year.
