Bhubaneswar: A day after an audio reel with Ollywood actor Babushaan and co-star Prkruti Mishra purportedly proclaiming their love for each other went viral, a fellow actor on Friday visited his wife Trupti Satpathy seeking marital reconciliation.
According to media reports, actor Rabi Mishra, who claims to be a close confidant to the actor’s family, visited Trupti and enquired about her health and that her son’s.
While Trupti’s aunt confirmed the 10 to 15 minutes discussion at her Surya Vihar residence in Bhubaneswar, Rabi Mishra said: “Very soon, we will find a way to resolve the dispute between Babushaan and his wife.”
Babushaan’s lawyer Dharanidhar Nayak also told the media that he is repenting his actions and has assured his parents that this mistake will not be repeated again. “He and his wife are working towards resolving the dispute mutually,” he added.
Trupti has reportedly said that she would wait and watch the situation for the time being.
The actor, who returned to Bhubaneswar from Chennai on Wednesday, is yet to give a statement to the media on the Saturday fracas involving him, his wife and co-star.
Last night, he had told journalists, camping outside his Jagannath Vihar residence here, that he was happy to be back with his family and his son will soon be with him. He asserted that he was not under any mental stress and the condition of his father, veteran actor Uttam Mohanty, has also improved.
His wife has accused him of having an extra-marital affair with Prakruti and lodged a complaint under Sections 498A (husband or his relative subjecting her to cruelty) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC against the actor and his co-star at Kharvela police station.

Babushaan has already moved Orissa High Court seeking anticipatory bail in the case.
