Bhubaneswar: He is just three and a half years old. But he can flawlessly say the names of many countries, their geographical locations and capitals. Meet the wonder boy Ayushman from Bhubaneswar.
Yet to start his primary education, Ayushman is learning to speak like any other child of his age. While being confined to indoor during the lockdown, he learnt about the countries and their capitals from his mother Priyanka Priyadarshini, a housewife.
“Ayushman is very active and can remember everything quickly. He took four to five days to pronounce the names of the countries initially and in 20 days, he could say the names of 10 countries and their capitals,” Priyanka said.
“When I observed the memory power of Ayushman, I started teaching him general information about Odisha as well as India. At this tender age, we do not want to pressurise him to learn. He studies only one hour in a day on these subjects,” she added.
Ayushman’s father is an eye specialist and the family stays near Kali temple in Unit III. He is fondly called ‘Sishu Chanakya’ in his locality.
