‘Mental Case’, Claim BJD Leaders After Jayanarayan Questions MLA-IAS Officer Role In Odisha Minister’s Murder
Bhubaneswar: Hitting out at Odisha’s Leader of Opposition (LoP) Jayanarayan Mishra for pointing fingers at 5T Secretary V K Pandian and MLA Pranab Prakash Das over Naba Das murder, senior BJD leaders on Tuesday alleged that BJP leader has lost mental balance and needs treatment.
Taking a dig at the senior BJP leader without naming him in a tweet, senior BJD leader and Rajya Sabha MP Amar Patnaik said making raising accusing fingers at two persons who have nothing to do with the crime shows it is a ‘mental case.’
The BJD parliamentarian sad the LoP needs treatment and BJP leadership should take immediate steps in this regard.
“And now with his latest ranting on such a sensitive issue as death of @nabadasjsg,, throwing कीचड़ on 2 persons who have nothing to do with this incident, I am convinced he is a “mental case”. ପାଗଳର ପ୍ରଳାପ। Desperately needs treatment. Would advise @BJP4Odisha to act immediately,” Patnaik said in a twitter post.
Attacking Mishra in same vein, senior BJD leader and government Chief Whip in Assembly Prashant Muduli accused the senior BJP leader of being a habitual offender. Several statements made by Mishra recently indicate that he might have lost his mental balance, Muduli alleged.
Stating that BJD does not take Mishra’s utterances seriously, he said BJP leaders should take steps for the treatment of the LoP, against whom as many as 16 criminal cases have been lodged.
Earlier in the day, Mishra had dropped a bombshell by pointing accusing fingers at 5T Secretary Pandian and Jajpur MLA and demanded that they be probed in Naba Das murder case. He alleged that the killing was ‘government-sponsored’ and he suspected the involvement of the 5T Secretary and the MLA in the crime.
