Bhubaneswar: Nights were slightly chilly in the state with the mercury dipping for the second consecutive day. Daringbadi was the coldest place in the state on Friday night, recording a minimum temperature of 8.5 degrees Celsius.
At least 14 places in the state recorded night temperatures less than 15 degrees Celsius — Sundergarh (14.5), Jharsuguda (11.6), Baripada (14.4), Balasore (14.3), Hirakud (13.6), Keonjhar (13), Chandbali (14.1), Sambalpur (14.8), Talcher (14), Sonepur (13.8), Titlagarh (10.8), Phulbani (13), Bhawanipatna (13.4) and Koraput (11.4).
