Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a further dip in night temperature with mercury plummeting to 8 degree Celsius at Daringbadi on Tuesday, a fall of 1.5 degrees since yesterday.
Phulbani was a close second at 9 degree Celsius.
The other places which recorded below 15 degree Celsius are Titlagarh (11.3°C), Sonepur (12°C), Jharsuguda (12.8°C), Bhawanipatna (12.9°C), Keonjhar (13.4°C), Balangir (13.5 °C), Angul (14°C), Sundargarh (14°C), Talcher (14°C), Nayagarh (14.5°C), Koraput (14.6°C) and Sambalpur (14.7°C).
The twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar could also feel the winter chill at 15.8 and 15.4 degree Celsius respectively.
On Monday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that there will be no large change in minimum temperature during the next 3 days and it will increase by 2-3°C thereafter.
