New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday granted permission to various boards for conducting the pending examinations for classes X and XII.
The ministry also decided to relax the lockdown measures to complete the process ensuring social distancing, face masks, etc for safety of the students.
In the guidelines, the ministry directed the respective boards to make arrangements for thermal screening and hand sanitizers at the examination centres. Besides, the schedule of examination should move unsteadily.
While face masks will be mandatory for students, teachers and other staff members, the ministry will not permit any examination centre in the containment zone, the guidelines mentioned.
Moreover, states/UTs may arrange transportation for the students to ferry them to examination centres, it added.
