Kolkata: Mumbai Indians registered its biggest victory in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) by trouncing Kolkata Knight Riders by 102 runs.
Ben Cutting’s knock of 24 runs off 9 balls was the most crucial part of the match as Mumbai went past 200 runs to hand KKR an embarrassing defeat. Ishan Kishan (62 off 21 balls) and Rohit Sharma added 82 runs for the third wicket.
Openers Evin Lewis and Suryakumar Yadav gave a good start to Mumbai, which bundled up a total score of 210/6.
In response, Kolkata were bowled out for 108 in 18.1 overs, after losing six wickets in 10 overs.
With this win, Mumbai have now climbed up to the fourth position, while Kolkata is in fifth spot.
