Bhadrak: Over a thousand Odia migrant workers blocked NH-16 near Nalanga in Bhadrak district to protest against alleged lack of food and accommodation.
Sources said the migrants had returned to Bhadrak from Tamil Nadu on Friday.
Earlier, the district administration had imposed Section 144 in and around Bhadrak railway station for smooth transit of the migrants to quarantine centers as well as to contain the spread of COVID-19.
