Ganjam: Migrant returnees quarantined at a temporary health centre in Ganjam district distributed sarees to three cooks at the centre.
After returning home to Odisha from other states, the migrants had been staying at the health center set up at Tikarpada Primary School in Buguda block for 14 days.
Before leaving the centre, the migrants presented each of the three women cooks with a saree. Krishna Chandra Ra, a member of the Pangidi panchayat samiti, was also present at the event.
While there have been complaints of mismanagement at various quarantine centres, it would not be wrong to say that this centre has set an example for all.
