Bhubaneswar: Finance minister Sashibhusan Behera will preside over the ministerial meeting to discuss demands of various employees’ associations at the State Secretariat here on Tuesday.
The three-member ministerial committee is led by the Finance minister as its chairperson and has Women and Child Development minister Prafulla Samal and Commerce and Transport minister Nrushingha Charan Sahu as members. It was formed on February 1 on the directive of the chief minister to resolve demands of various employees associations. Later, on February 5, the committee added the principal secretary and finance and special secretary, general administration, as other members.
The committee has met twice since its formation. At a meeting last week, 198 demands of various employees’ associations were discussed.
