Minor boy drowns in pond at Konark

Konark: In a tragic incident, a four-year-old body drowned in a pond at Paralagaon in Konark of Puri district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Sushil Sethi.

The mishap occurred when Sushil slipped into the water body while playing near it.

According to reports, the body was fished out by some local residents from the pond.

However, the victim’s family members lodged a complaint at Gopa police station alleging that he was murdered.

Police have started investigation into the matter.
