Sundergarh: A minor boy was killed due to lightning in Subalia village under Sundergarh Sadar police limits on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Mousum Naik (10).
According to sources, the incident occurred when Mousum was playing with his friends under a jamun tree near Jaesaria Pada. Mousum was critically injured, while five of his friends sustained minor injuries.
He died on the way to Sundergarh District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
