Minor Boy Saved From Drowning In Odisha’s Sundargarh
Sundargarh: Fire Brigade personnel saved a minor boy from drowning in Sundargarh district on Sunday.
According to reports, the boy identified as Krishna of Kamaraposa in K Balang police station area had gone with some youths for a bath in a nullah on the outskirts of the village.
While the youths were taking a bath, rainwater suddenly entered the nullah. While the others managed to escape, Krishna was swept away by the strong current. He, however, managed to clutch a bush.
Initially, the villagers tried to rescue him, but in vain. They then informed Fire Brigade personnel who rushed to the spot and threw a rope at Krishna. After several attempts, the boy caught the rope and was safely pulled back to the bank.
