Minor Girl’s Throat Slit: Child Was Gang-Raped, Reveals Odisha Police

Berhampur: The minor girl of Sorala village under Golanthara police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district was gang-raped by two miscreants,  who were arrested by police soon after the incident came to light.

Informing this, Additional SP of Berhampur said the two youths gang-raped her and later brutally thrashed her in an attempt to kill her. The child is now undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

It may be mentioned here that the child of was found in a pool of blood inside a closed room on January 28.

The girl’s family members said child was playing outside the house when they heard some screams rushed to find her lying in a pool of blood. While one miscreant was caught by villagers.
