Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday effected a minor reshuffle in the senior IAS cadre.
According to a notification by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, 1997 batch Pramod Kumar Meherda, Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Governor with additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Women and Child Development (W&CD), is allowed to join a Central government assignment. He will join as managing director of National Food Security Mission.
Besides, 1991 batch Anu Garg, Principal Secretary of Water Resources, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary (W&CD).
1996 batch Saswat Mishra, who is at present serving as Principal Secretary of Higher Education, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary to Governor, the notification added.
