Minor Siblings Drown In Pond In Odisha’s Kendrapada

Kendrapada: The bodies of a seven-year-old girl and her three-year-old brother were found in a pond at a village in Kendrapada district on Monday.

The two were identified as the daughter and son of one Binod Behera at Daani Giri village near Rajkanika. They were last seen playing near their house before they went missing on Monday morning .

Later in the afternoon, some villagers spotted the bodies floating in the pond and informed their family.

It is suspected that the children had slipped into the pond while playing.
