Bargarh: A woman died and her husband and two sons were critically injured after unidentified miscreants allegedly attacked the family of weavers at Bairakhpali village in Bargarh district on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Jayashree Meher (43). The injured, Jayashree’s husband Khirod Meher (50) and two sons Devendra (18) and Balaram (25), were admitted to Bijepur hospital in a critical condition.
According to the sources, four unidentified miscreants attacked the family while they were fast asleep.
The reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained.
On being informed, police reached the spot and started investigation.
