Cuttack: The Odisha government on Thursday informed about 131 new COVID-19 cases being reported from Cuttack district.
With these new cases reported in the last 24 hours, the affected tall in the district rose to 3518.
The district administration, however, later tweeted that three of the 131 cases belong to other districts and another already reported on Wednesday.
Giving the details of the remaining 127 cases, it said that the highest of 115 cases have been detected in areas under Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), followed by three from Athagarh, two each from Kantapada and Salepur and one each from Banki, Choudwar, Mahanga, Sadar and Tangi.
The virus has so far claimed 13 lives in the district, two of which were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 2338 patients have recovered from the infection in the district.
