Bhubaneswar: If lack of finances, does not come in the way, model Simran from Koraput district of Odisha will head for Jakarta, Indonesia, to walk the ramp in the final chapter of the Miss India International Fusion Fiesta beauty pageant on October 14.
The diva was in the fray with 18 other contestants.
A student of Plus II Science, Santwana B Simran belongs to Mathalput of Semiliguda block in Koraput. Within months of participating in beauty pageants, she won the title Miss Koraput at Kerry’s Mr. & Miss Koraput 2019 contest.
The Miss Global and Miss Universe aspirant and her family have approached Madhusudan Mishra, District Collector of Koraput with their predicament on the financial front. If reports are to be believed, he has written to NALCO officials in Damanjodi to enable her to participate in the international contest by giving her financial support.
