Bhadrak: The body of a minor girl was found floating in an abandoned pond near the railway track in Charampa on Sunday.
The girl of Rambhila village under Sadar police limits in Odisha’s Bhadrak district had been missing for the last four days.
Police seized a pair of shoes and a purse of the deceased near the pond.
The minor girl had gone out of her house on Makar Sankranti. When her family members failed to trace her after a frantic search for three days, they lodged a complaint at the Sadar police station on Saturday.
