Berhampur: The authorities of the Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati (MKCG) Medical College & Hospital here in Ganjam district have decided to reopen the outdoor patient departments (OPDs) on August 15.
To contain the spread of COVID-19 in Ganjam, OPD services were closed by the district administration on July 8.
The departmental OPDs will be reopened in the respective indoor buildings of the hospital. Medicine OPD will be in the PMR building while the rest departments like TB and CD, Skin and VD, Psychiatry will be in their indoor patient departments (IPDs).
The Flu/Fever Clinic will start functioning at the earmarked place of the old Indoor Building.
With 144 deaths and 11,548 recoveries, the Ganjam district now has 1875 active cases.
