Bhubaneswar: Thanks to an accommodative stance by Mo Bus, a city-based student will now be able to reach his school in time.
Sai Anwesh Amrutam Pradhan, a student of MBS Public School in Bhubaneswar, had tweeted a request to Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT), which runs the Mo Bus service, to change the timing of a bus.
“I use Mo Bus as my daily transportation means to go to school. My reporting time at school is sharp at 7:30 AM. But unfortunately the first bus of route no-13 leaves at 7:40 AM from Lingipur. As a result I will be late for my school. And for this reason I am facing a lot of problems,” Sai tweeted.
“So I would be grateful to you if you kindly look into the matter and take some immediate action,” the student added.

Responding to the request, CRUT replied that it has noted the request and shared with the department concerned to see the feasibility.
Later, CRUT Managing Director Arun Bothra tweeted, “MoBus moves with love of commuters like you. The timing of your bus will be changed from Monday. The first bus will start at 7 AM. You won’t be late for school.”

This is not the first instance that Mo Bus has revised its timing to benefit students.
Last year, a student from Allen IIT coaching centre in Bhubaneswar, Tushar, had posted a similar request on Twitter and the bus timing was changed to help students preparing for IIT-JEE at the coaching centre.
