New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi lashed out at the Congress in his victory address at the BJP headquarters in Delhi on Friday evening. Calling the Congress a parasite that preys on its host, Modi named the party the “Muslim League Maowadi Congress” or MMC that believes solely on negative politics and peddles the agenda of anti-national forces.

“People are fast losing faith in the Congress. In the last three Lok Sabha polls, the party did not manage to reach the three-figure mark. People are losing faith in the Congress. The party hasn’t managed a three-digit figure in the last three Lok Sabha elections. If all the six Assembly elections after the 2024 Lok Sabha polls are taken together, the Congress could not win as many seats as the BJP won in Bihar today,” Modi said amidst lusty cheers.

“The top leadership of the Congress has turned the party into the Muslim League Maowadi Congress or MMC. There is a lot of displeasure within the party due to this and I believe that a split in the Congress is imminent. While in Bihar, I had said that the Congress will go down and take down its partners as well. The party is a liability, a parasite that feeds on its host. Partners have to be careful. Today, the RJD is stunned. There will be a fight between the two (Congress and RJD) soon enough,” the Prime Minister said.

Promising factories, investments, jobs and tourism in Bihar, Modi said that religious and heritage sites will be developed in the state. He also invited investors from India and abroad to invest in the state.

“To people from Bihar who are living elsewhere now, I will say that this is the right time to invest in Bihar. There will be tremendous growth in the next five years. Bihar is ready to welcome investors from other parts of India and abroad,” he said.

Modi also sounded the bugle for the elections in West Bengal that are due in 2026. According to him, the win in Bihar will encourage and inspire the BJP workers in West Bengal.

“After all, the Ganga flows from Bihar to West Bengal. The spirit of victory will also flow from Bihar to West Bengal. After Bihar, it is now time to get rid of the “Jungle Raj” in West Bengal,” Modi said.
