Bhubaneswar: Sambad Group Managing Director Monica Nayyar Patnaik have been appointed as the chairperson of FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) Odisha State Council.
She is the first media and entertainment industry executive to have been nominated to the post in the state chapter.

Patnaik was the co-chair of Odisha State Council in 2019-20. She was also a national governing body member of FICCI- Media & Entertainment Skills Council.
She also serves on the governing body of AROI (Association of Radio Operators of India).
She recently completed a leadership course from University of Oxford.
