Bhubaneswar: Managing Director of Sambad Group Monica Nayyar Patnaik has been nominated as chairperson of FICCI Odisha State Council for another term.
Patnaik was the chairperson of FICCI Odisha Council for 2020-21. The newly appointed national president of FICCI Uday Shankar had invited Patnaik to continue as chairperson of FICCI Odisha during his tenure of 2021-22.
During her previous tenure, Patnaik led the premier industry organisation in various high-level delegations, meetings with the state government authorities and dialogues with leading industries to boost investment promotion. She also initiated “Odisha 50”, a novel project of FICCI, Sambad Group and Mission Shakti Department to promote women-led enterprise within the state.
Similarly, CEO of Vedanta Ltd, Jharsuguda, CN Singh has been re-nominated for the second term as co-chairman of FICCI Odisha Council.
FICCI has been declared as the National Industry Partner of Odisha Government to showcase the state’s potentials and facilitate investment in various sectors.
