More COVID-19 Cases Pour In From Malgodown In Cuttack City, COVID-19 Tally Reaches 1470

Cuttack: The Millenium City reported 81 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, which pushed the affected tally to 1470 on Friday.

Among them, 38 are from containment zone of Behera Sahi, Malgodown, 26 from home quarantine, five from institutional quarantine centre and 12 local contact cases.

Of the new cases, 52 have been infected by previous patients, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) tweeted. Fourteen of the home quarantine cases are from Pareswar Sahi.

Two more cases have been detected from the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital here.

Among those who tested positive in the last 24 hours are two COVID warriors.

With 10 deaths and 693 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 767 active cases.
