Berhampur: Three new fraud cases being registered against tainted IFS officer Abhay Kant Pathak and son Akash on Monday.
As per sources, Golanthara police in Ganjam district named the father and son in the fraud cases which were registered against Gopalpur MLA Pradeep Panigrahi.
Panigrahi was arrested for defrauding youth and collecting money on behalf of Akash by promising jobs to several aspirants in Tata Motors.
After registering the cases, police appealed Berhampur SDJM court to allow them summon Pathaks for questioning.
The court has admitted the appeal and the two are likely to be produced before the court tomorrow, sources said.
