New Delhi: There was a security scare on the Parliament premises after the car of BJP MP Vinod Kumar Sonkar touched a boom barrier on Tuesday morning.
The touch activated the spikes placed at the gate. The car suffered some damage after the incident.
The security men posted at Parliament immediately took position to thwart any hostile move.
Security at Parliament was upgraded soon after nine people were killed in a suicide attack in 2001.
