Kokilaben was later seen arriving along with her two daughters.
According to reports, the Ambanis arrived in a helicopter and later travelled by car to the sangam.
Last month, Mukesh Ambani’s younger brother and industrialist Anil Ambani and his wife, Tina Ambani, were at the Mahakumb for the sacred dip.
Mahakumbh area declared a ‘no vehicle zone’
Meanwhile, the traffic situation improved in the districts bordering Prayagraj. Monday saw people getting stranded in traffic jams for more than 30 hours on routes leading to Prayagraj from Varanasi, Lucknow and Kanpur. The queue of stranded vehicles stretched up to 300 km, according to reports.
Several devotees shared their experiences on social media, and many vented their frustration with mismanagement. However, Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar attributed the delays in traffic movement to sheer number of devotees during Mahakumbh.
The Railways have also been running special Kumbh trains ahead of the Amrit Snan on Maghi Purnima to clear the crowd at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay railway station.
Expecting the number swell further, the entire Mahakumbh area has been declared a ‘no vehicle zone’ from 4 am on February 11 to ensure the smooth bathing of devotees. No vehicle zone will also be implemented in Prayagraj city after 5 pm on February 11 and the advisory will remain in effect until the smooth evacuation of devotees from the Mela area on February 12. The restrictions on the entry and exit of vehicles in Prayagraj city and the mela area will also apply to the vehicles of ‘Kalpvasi’, the Mahakumbh district administration said.
The bathing on Maghi Purnima is the fifth ‘shahi snan’ of Mahakumbh.
