Heavy Rains: 2000 Passengers Stranded In Mumbai-Kolhapur Mahalaxmi Express
Kolhapur-bound Mahalaxmi Express is reportedly stuck between Badlapur and Wangani stations with around 2,000 passengers onboard, due to waterlogged track following heavy rains.
The Central Railways has advised passengers not to step out of the train, stating that the train is a safe place.
Disaster management teams are distributing biscuits and water.

A NDRF team with inflatable boats, life jackets and medical supplies has rushed to the spot using 8 boats and a helicopter with auto-inflatable craft.
17416 Kolhapur-Tirupati Express and 17415 Tirupati-Kolhapur Express have been cancelled.
