Mumbai Police Arrest Man For Smashing Colleague’s Face With Stone
Mumbai: Mumbai police arrested a 22-year-old man for allegedly murdering his colleague in an inebriated state in the western suburb Andheri, cops said.
On Monday, the MIDC police arrested Sushant Ghotkar for killing his co-worker Rahul Gaikwad in the Marol locality of Andheri, an official was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
The incident happened last week when both were consuming liquor and began quarrelling about some issue, the official said.
According to the official, the accused had allegedly hit the victim with a stone multiple times on his face and then fled the scene.
The accused was arrested on the basis of a voice message he sent to another colleague stating that he had murdered Gaikwad.
