Niali: Panic continued to grip villages under Niali block of Odisha’s Cuttack district as four more sheep were killed in an attack by an unidentified animal or animals at Dahijang village on Wednesday night.
According to villagers, the unseen animal entered into the cattle shed of Udayanath Bhoi and killed four sheep. They also claimed to have found pug marks of the mysterious creature in and around the cattle shed.
On Saturday, three sheep were found dead while two others injured after being attacked by the unknown animal at Balikuda village under Bilasuni panchayat in the block.
On November 21, at least 14 sheep were found killed at Kantapada Nuabazar under mysterious circumstances.
