Mystery Shrouds Death Of Woman & Minor Son In Odisha’s Ganjam

Berhampur: A woman and her minor son were found dead under mysterious circumstances in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Monday.

As per reports, the woman, identified as Dali Nilabeni of Chudialanji village under Jarada police limits in the district was staying with her 9-yearpold son Dali Ritik and parents-in-law. Her husband works in Dubai.

As Nilabeni did not come out of her room till late in the morning, her mother-in-law knocked on the door but did not get any response. Suspecting that something was wrong, she called her neighbours.

The villagers broke open the door to find Nilabeni and her son lying dead on the bed.

On being informed by the villagers, a team from Jarada police station went to the village and sent the bodies for post-mortem.

They have registered a case of unnatural death and started investigation. However, the cause of the death of mother and son has not been ascertained.
