Ahmedabad: Odisha’s Dinesh Kumar cycled his way to double glory in the 36th National Games on Monday.
Dinesh led the field to come up trumps in the men’s Individual Pursuit event. His second gold came by way of Odisha winning the Team Pursuit honours as well.
Swasti Singh added to Odisha’s haul from the cycling velodrome by bagging the silver medal in Omnium Race event.
Odisha sportspersons tasted in other disciplines also.
The state’s ace shooter Shriyanka Sadangi clinched silver in women’s 50m Rifle 3 Position.

In rowing, Odisha added 1 silver and 2 bronze medals on Monday.
The Women’s 8 team – comprising Subhashree Biswal, Sonali Swain, Ritu Kaudi, Deepika Xess, Sanjukta Dungdung, Reshma Lakra, Manisha Kispotta, Jharna Hasti and Ashmita Karketta – claimed the silver medal.
The couple of bronze came through Anshika Bharti and Sonalika Das in women’s Doubles Sculls, while Anshika, Sonalika, Arunpreet Kaur and Richael Lakra finished third in the Fours.
