Bargarh: All India Hair and Beauty Association (AIHBA)’s programme ‘Gurave Namah’ has found a place in Guinness World Records by doing the makeup of 1,500 persons at a time.
The two-day-long programme, which was held at Imperial College in Bargarh district, concluded on Sunday.
As a part of this programme, 1,500 makeup artists from different parts of the country did makeup simultaneously through livestreaming to create the world record.
AIHBA’s Vice-President Minati Sahoo coordinated the programme. Many senior makeup artists were also felicitated on the occasion.
They also shared their views and spoke about the skills and knowledge needed to be a successful makeup artist at a training session organised during the event.
A fashion show with top models from different parts of the state was also held on the occasion.
Noted beauticians and makeup trainers Subarnna Chatarjee from Kolkata, Sameer Debanath, and Sushri Goswami participated in the programme.
