Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik on Sunday appointed the Chandbali MLA Byomkesh Ray as the president of Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD).
On Wednesday, Naveen approved the appointment of new working members and district presidents of the youth wing of the party. While Baikuntha Naik was appointed as the new working president of the BYJD, Elisha Dash was given charge of secretary general of the party’s youth wing.
The BJD president also appointed MLA from Banki Assembly constituency Debi Ranjan Tripathy as the president of Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD), the party’s students’ wing.
