Naveen Enquires About Pradipta Naik’s Health, Assures AIIMS Doctors Of Support In Treating Him

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday discussed the health condition of the leader of the Opposition, Pradipta Naik with AIIMS doctors.

Pradipta Naik, who contracted COVID-19 is admitted to the ICU of AIIMS Bhubaneswar for the past fortnight.

Naveen interacted with the AIIMS and SCB doctors who are treating Pradipta. The doctors told the CM that the leader is currently COVID negative. However, there is widespread inflammation and lung infection because of which he is on the ventilator and his condition continues to be serious. The best possible efforts are being made for his early recovery, they said.

AIIMS Director, Geetanjali Batmanabane thanked the state government for all the support in the leader’s treatment, especially procuring critical medicines on time.

Wishing the leader a speedy recovery, Naveen requested the doctors to provide the best health care to Pradipta Naik and assured the state government’s full support.
