Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday inaugurated 10 more ‘transformed schools’ at Hinjilicut in Ganjam district in the fourth phase of the high school transformation programme under the 5T Initiative of the state government.
Inaugurating the schools on virtual mode, the chief minister said, “The transformed schools have brought an inspiration among the students to strive for achievement of their goals.”
“Since this is the age of science and competition, the state government has been striving to extend all opportunities possible to help them succeed in their endeavours,” he added.
With this, 40 schools have been covered under the transformation programme of the government in Hinjili. The programme aims at brnging in transformation in 50 schools in the area in five phases.
The chief minister had inaugurated 10 transformed schools in the third phase of the programme on August 26.
The schools that were inaugurated on the day include Panchayat High School in Durabandh panchayat, Government High School in Sergada, Brundavan Government High School in Hinjilikati Municipality, Ramchandrapur High School in Narendrapur, UN High School in Sikri, B Berhampur High School in Krushanchhai, Government UG High School in Putiapadar, Narendrapur High School, Government UG High School in Nandika and Pittala Boys High School in Pittala panchayat.
Secretary 5T VK Pandian said 1070 transformed schools will be inaugurated on Children’s Day on November 14. Several ministers and MLAs were present on the occasion.
