Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday inaugurated the newly-constructed auditorium of Rama Devi Women’s University (RDWU) in Bhubaneswar.
The auditorium, having a seating capacity of 1000 people, has been constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 17 crore. The state-of-the-art auditorium is equipped with modern facilities and latest gadgets for staging academic as well as entertainment programmes.
The auditorium was inaugurated ahead of the university’s next convocation, which will be attended by President Droupadi Murmu on February 10.
Among others, higher education minister Rohit Pujari, secretary of higher education Bishnupada Sethi, RDWU vice-chancellor Aparajita Choudhury, Bhubaneswar mayor Sulochana Das and MLA Anant Narayan Jena were present.
