Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday inaugurated projects worth more than Rs 28 crore in Hinjili municipality areas in Ganjam district.
Inaugurating the projects through video-conferencing, the chief minister said the projects aim at providing modern amenities to the people of the municipality as part of the government’s efforts to develop small towns in the state.
The projects included new bus stand, market complex, vending zone, guest house, mini Kalyan Mandap, cold storage and others.
Lauding the contributions of the people of Ganjam in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, he thanked the efforts of panchayat representatives, Mission Shakti members and COVID warriors.
Stating that he has not been able to visit Hinjili due to the pandemic, Naveen assured that he would meet the people there soon.
