Naveen Lays Stone For 7 More LMO Plants In Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Odisha government is committed to protect the health of its people during the COVID pandemic, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Friday.
The state has stood strong in the first and second wave of COVID-19 and is all prepared for the possible third wave from its past experiences, Naveen said.
He was speaking at the foundation stone laying event for Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) storage and distribution in seven districts at Angul, Boudh, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Bhawanipatna and Nuapada through video conferencing.
The CM also inaugurated a COVID Ward with oxygen gas pipeline system at Sub Divisional Hospital (SDH) Athamalik and Isolation Ward with oxygen gas pipeline system at SDH Pallahara, Madhapur and Kishorenagar Community Health, Primary Health Centres at Boinda and Thakuragarh and District Vaccine Store (DVS) at new district headquarters hospital at Rajamunda, Deogarh.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kisore Das, Deputy Speaker of State Assembly Rajnikant Singh, Women & Child Development Minister Tukuni Sahu, Energy Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra, Dhenkanal MP Mahesh Sahu, Berhampur MP Chandrasekhar Sahu, Boudh MLA Pradip Amat, Nuapada MLA Rajendra Dholakia and others attended the event.
Secretary to Chief Minister (5T) VK Pandian conducted the programme.
