Naveen Prays For Speedy Recovery Of Former Speaker Of Odisha Assembly Surjya Patro

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday wished speedy recovery and good health for former Speaker of Odisha Assembly Surjya Narayan Patro.

Patro had resigned from the Speaker post on Saturday. Later, his son Biplab Patro informed that his father is suffering from serious kidney ailment and a bacterial infection in the left eye. Surjya Patro has been undergoing treatment at Sum Ultimate hospital for the last 14 days, Biplab informed.

It may be mentioned that Patro was among he first few to resign after the Chief Minister asked his entire Cabinet to submit their papers ahead of the reshuffle and swearing in today.
