NEET 2023: SAI Students Bag Top 3 Ranks In Odisha; Know Their Success Mantra

Bhubaneswar: Swayam Shakti Tripathy, student of SAI International School, has become the state topper in NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) 2023 by securing All India Rank (AIR) 8 with 715 marks. He, who scored 99.9 percentile, also took coaching at Aakash Institute at Bhouma Nagar, Unit-4, here.

Surya Pratap Mishra and Abhipsa Chowdhury, also from SAI, have come second and third with AIR 35 and AIR 63. Abhipsa also figured in the top-20 list of female candidates.

The school, in a release, said that their exceptional results bear testimony to their unwavering dedication, tireless efforts, and the institution’s relentless pursuit of providing quality education. He dedicated 12 to 13 hours a day for NEET and followed the NCERT books and materials as part of his preparation for the medical entrance test.

Swayam said he has planned to pursue MBBS at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and wants to pursue post-graduate in surgery. He had bagged 98.6% in his Class 12, results of which was announced on May 12.

The achievers also spoke about dedicating long hours to understand concepts, practisie mock tests, and analyse previous years’ question papers, accompanied by soughing guidance from teachers and utilising study materials provided by the school. They all highlighted how maintaining a positive mindset and staying motivated were crucial elements in their preparation strategies.

Of 55,866 candidates from Odisha who appeared in the NEET exam, 28,330 could qualify. A total of 57,092 candidates had applied for the exam from the state.

Prabhanjan J of Tamil Nadu and Bora Varun Chakravarthi of Andhra Pradesh jointly topped the test by securing 720/720 marks.

The NTA conducted the Test for 20,87,462 candidates at 4,097 different centres located in 499 Cities throughout the country including 14 cities outside India.
