New Delhi: Sangeeta Agrawal from Odisha has secured the 91st rank in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission into the MBBS programme, the results of which were declared on Wednesday. She scored 680 marks out of 720 in the exam and secured the 17th rank in the list of top 20 female candidates.
As per some reports, Asutosh Panda from Balangir was the overall topper from Odisha scoring 682 marks. He secured the 73rd rank.
The exam was topped by Nalin Khandelwal (701 marks) from Rajasthan.
In all, 15.19 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, out of whom 7.97 lakh candidates qualified, said a statement issued by the National Testing Agency, which conducted NEET.
The pass percentage in Odisha declined marginally from last year. It stood at 59.44 per cent as compared to 60.68 per cent in 2018. A total of 32,378 candidates from Odisha appeared for the exam and 19,244 passed it.
