Bhubaneswar: Bowing to the demands of the teachers and the opposition political parties, the Odisha government on Tuesday revised the morning school timings.
According to a notification issued by the School and Mass Education Department, the school timings for the students of Class IX and XI will be from 7 am to 9 am and for Class X and XII from 8 am to 12 pm.
Notably, the School and Mass Education minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Monday had told the media that the government is reviewing the school timings with teachers and politicians raising concern over Class X and XII students returning home at 1 pm.
