Bhubaneswar: Newly-elected office-bearers of BJB Friends, the alumni association of BJB Autonomous College, took oath on Monday.
A day earlier, Biswaprakash Patnaik, Rudra Narayan Samantray, Mihir Kanta Praharaj (treasurer. were elected as working president, general secretary and treasurer, re
spectively, for 2026-28.
The executive body members are — Biswa Ranjan Sahoo, Arabind Prasad Bal, Dilip Kumar Senapati, Tirupati Prasad Panda, Amar Mahapatra, Suchitra Sahoo, Biswa Bijaya Buxi Acharya, Kalpataru Ojha, Pradeep Kumar Samal, Smarita Samantaray, Malaya Ketan Jena and Dayananda Ratha.
BJB Autonomous College principal and ex-officio president of BJB Friends Rita Das presided over the oath-taking ceremony.
The goals of the newly-elected body are streamlining the association, undertaking college-related development work, launching enhanced membership drive in local and international sphere, meeting with the necessities of BJB Autonomous College and ensuring its holistic growth.
