New Delhi: WhatsApp is set to add a feature that will allow users to send messages which will disappear after seven days. It will be introduced by the end of November.
The new feature of the messaging app will make chats disappear after a week, without taking into account whether it has been delivered or read, Boom reported.
“We will keep an eye on feedback about how people are using it and liking it and see if it needs adjustment in future. For now we are starting with seven days, because it feels like a nice balance between the utility you need for global text-based conversations and the feeling of things not sticking around forever,” a spokesperson told TechCrunch.
This feature will be available for individual chats and group conversations will include media like photos and videos.
In group chats, the admin will have to enable the disappearing messages feature.
