Bhubaneswar: The Odia movie lovers are set for a new experience as Ollywood’s coming venture ‘Oxygen’ carries an environmental message.
Starring Sambit and Tamanna in lead roles, ‘Oxygen’ carries a message to the society to save trees and keep the environment clean. Produced under the banner Aarpee Production, the movie is produced by Siva Prasad Panda.
Director Pinu Nayak of ‘Indrajala’ and ‘Jor Ka Jhatka’ fame has directed ‘Oxygen’. Speaking on its storyline, Pinu said it is an entertainer for all kinds of viewers with a strong message for the society.
“Tamanna is playing the female lead in the movie. After losing her father, she follows his footsteps in creating awareness on saving the trees to protect the environment. At the end, she leaves an imprint on the issue,” said Pinu who has another movie ‘Lagaam’ to be released soon.
“Though ‘Oxygen’ is based on a serious issue, it has fair dose of romance and comedy as a relief. There is also small drama played by children,” said Pinu. Babi Mishra appears in a negative role, he added.
Abhijit Majumdar is the music composer of the movie which has four songs. Tapu Nayak, Dr Nirmal Nayak and Satya Ranjan Bal have written the songs.
Rashmi Ranjan Panda has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the movie.
“The shooting of the movie was started on September 29 and we are planning to release it in January, 2022,” said Pinu.
