Bhubaneswar: Riding on the hat-trick scored by Nicolas Fedor, Bengaluru FC (BFC) defeated Mohun Bagan 4-2 in the semi-final held at Kalinga Stadium on Tuesday. BFC will now play East Bengal in the final to be held on April 20.
Fedor scored thrice late (63rd, 65th, 88th minutes), while skipper Sunil Chhetri scored the fourth goal in the 90th minute to seal the match in the favour.
For Mohun Bagan, Aser Dipanda Dicka scored a brace in the 42nd and (90+2) minute, but failed to register a spot in the final.
The opening goal was scored by Dicka, who slapped the goal minutes ahead of the half-time when Akram Moghrabi found him inside the BFC penalty box from the left.
Unmarked Fedor then scored on two quick defence lapses while the third came off a penalty.
